At Department of Coffee, we are all about smooth, strong coffee!
Our coffee is the Colombian Reserve by Shibello Caffe. It is blended with 100% Arabica beans from PNG, Colombia, Brazil and Ethiopia. A nutty and warm spiciness in the aroma leading to a sweet orange and chocolate flavour. With the sweetness typical of the Colombian coffees, the depth of the Ethiopian ones and the brightness of the Brazillian coffees, the cup is extremely elegant with outstanding flavours, topped with the perfect crema.

We also have our cold drip coffee and Iced Coffee! (double espresso with maple and milk)

Introducing
Travis and Jacqui Kelly
Travis and Jacqui moved from Ballarat, Victoria in 2014 to the Gold Coast. Ready for a challenge and a change in pace they chose Department of Coffee as their next challenge!
Both have a passion for beautiful, healthy, affordable and delicious food and coffee! They are down-to-earth and geniune with their customers and will make you feel welcome and at home in their cafe.
'We love our customers, to us its the best bit!' says Travis, 'They come into our cafe just for a coffee and breakfast and pretty soon we will be talking about the footy or cricket or soccer or basketball haha yes you might say I'm into any sport, but you know, we love it when people walk out feeling better about their day, thats what we try to be about!'

At Department of Coffee, we know freshness is key! Consumers nowadays, are educated in healthy eating. We have an extensive range of vegan and vegetarian options both on our menu and in our cabinet ready to grab and go!
We believe in freshness so much that you just know that when you get our hollandaise (for example) that it was made from scratch today! NOT out of a packet,, Our relish is cooked in our kitchen not from a jar. Our banana bread was baked by us!

We started making our own Granola because the supermarket quality just did not cut it with our customers. The DOC Granola is freshly made within our cafe. The slow toasted oats made with Coconut Oil, Maple, Cinnamon, Pepitas, Flaked Almonds, Sunflower Seeds and Pecans, nothing artificial added!

We have an amazing cold cabinet that is stocked daily with fresh, healthy and ready to grab lunches. Salad wraps, frittatas, salads, foccacias, bagels, raw cakes, cakes, filos, toasties and MORE!
